Yesterday, Andrew and I had some time to kill so we wandered into Mor furniture to look at couches for the house. I totally got sucked in by the AMAZING deals they were running. I walked around the store once and had everything I wanted picked out. Luckily Andrew was in an agreeable mood.

It was really fun to finally be able to spend the money from our wedding. Yes more than a year later we had not spent a dime, we were saving it for this purpose:) We got amazing deals and free delivery. And when we sat down to order with the guy he managed to knock even more off the price, so we got them for cheaper than we even thought. We also go a 5 year warranty on them that covers everything. We figured since we will have children in the house it might be wise to have that.
Update on the house:
Closing was delayed because the underwriter wanted to see my transcripts to establish two years of history on me. Because it was the holidays and schools are naturally slow anyway... it took awhile to get them. So we should be hearing soon about when everything will be finalized.
