Appointment #3

Sorry, it is a picture of a picture so not the best quality
Had my 12 week appointment here are the bullet points. BTW Andrew hates it when people refer to the baby as if it's name was baby. So for the purpose of this blog we are going to call it AJ (Andrew or Angie Jr.)

~AJ was being very cooperative, so that they could get the measurement of the neck to screen for chromosomal disorders (looks good so far).

~AJ was started moving all around kicking it's feet and waving it's hands. Then all of a sudden AJ fell asleep for about 5 min. Then woke up and started the process all over again.

~AJ has all 10 fingers and 10 toes and knees and elbows and everything else that should be there.

~ We got to see AJ's brain. you can see the two hemispheres developing. Very cool.

~The Ultrasound tech said "Has anyone ever told you you have a tipped uterus?" "uh no..."
Apparently it is hereditary and 30% of women have one. It just means that your uterus tilts toward your spine instead of your belly button. There is VERY rarely any side affects and almost never causes any problems in pregnancy because as your progress your uterus shifts into a different position anyway. The doctor didn't even bring it up as something to be watching.

Next appointment is in March
